About Susan

Susan was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she grew up alongside her four siblings in a fully homeschooled household. Curious and creative from an early age, she developed a passion for learning independently and very quickly became a self-taught software developer. Susan started early working at the Chattanooga Software Center, where her dedication and skill earned her a partnership position.

In December 2021, Susan met Peter at a young adults gathering at a local church. What began as weekly gatherings with friends—bonfires, hiking trips, and church events—gradually grew into a relationship rooted in mutual respect, intellectual connection, and shared convictions. One year later, Peter proposed to Susan beside a waterfall, surrounded by family and close friends, and the two began their new life together as a married couple the following spring. Today, Susan and Peter share a love for hiking, bouldering, thoughtful conversation, and AoE2.

Although Susan had explored the art of perfumery as a hobby for several years, her passion took on new meaning in 2024 after developing ME/CFS. Searching for an entrepreneurial path that would allow for flexibility and accommodate limited energy, she revisited her many creative interests and realized natural perfumery was the perfect fit. What began as personal experimentation evolved into a meaningful business endeavor rooted in artistry, wellness, and a love for beautiful natural scents.
